Hey Everyone,

I finally got all the parts for my HTPC and built it. I am using the Gigabyte GA-MA790GP and a Gigabyte Radeon HD 4850 graphics card.

Everything is running perfectly but I can't seem to get HDMI video output when the Video Card is connected to the motherbaord. I tried selecting use onboard graphics in Bios but then I can only see the flash screen on HDMI then I loose signal. I am currently connected via DVI through the graphics card.

Can someone help me setup up the HybridX so I can use HDMI output and the video card?

I tried following the instructions in the motherboard manual but to no avail...

Thanks,

Mike

Bump...

I'm down at my apartment now and really want to get everything working. I'm going to go pick up a DVI to HDMI adapter and an optical cable for audio but this is not how I want the setup.

Is there anyway to use the HDMI output with the video card installed??

Thank You,

Mike

HD 4850 does not work in the Hybrid CrossFire mode. Only HD 2400 and 3400 series work in this mode (check this page ).
