Tivo set to heartwarming...
i'll be at the Mavs vs spurs game tonite so i am VERY thankful to the engineers who developed the HD Tivo.
the rotten tomatoes link gave it a 33% "Rotten" rating. Looks like I'll be skipping this one, thanks for the links though.

rottentomatoes is having technical problems, but the IMDB rating was 8.0/10 which is extremely high. havent seen it, don't expect to watch it tonight but just to be fair...
Relentless nonchalance and fatalistic 'humor' seemed overdone, IMO. Disease-of-the-week productions seem culturally popular, but this last-wish twist, dating a super-model, wasn't enough to hang a feature on. Nice small-town opening, like the previous doll-factory-killer production, but it quickly goes astray. -- John
i thought it was awesome!

if you didn't get a chance to see it, its available on HDNet's website as a WMV HD DVD. that means you can watch on your pc or one of the specialty dvd players, like IO Data.
I thought it was pretty good, especially the scenes with the 2 boys at the strip club.
