Hi All,
I just took my PC with a ATI 9000Pro and hooked via DVI to my Samsung DLP TV to play Star Wars II. WOW!
I now want to build a HTPC, but was debating whether to do this or not. The decision hinges on reception of OTA HDTV in my area.
I do not have line of site, but rather several hills between me and the transmitting tower. I will most likely get a bounced signal.
I've heard reports that the new Samsung and Sony set-top boxes have very sensitive tuners in their that may work for my situation.
QUESTIONS:
1) Amongst the HDTV tuner cards for PCs, is their one that compares to sensitivy to set-top boxes?
2) Can someone refer me to the most valuable thread that compares HDTV tuner card features?
Thanks!
