This is a question for the Display section of AVS. Please list the brand, model, type (LCD, DLP, CRT, etc.) & price (over $5000 or under $5000) so I can move it to the proper forum.
HDTV is a new digital TV format that is different than the current standard TV system. Even though your projector has an HDTV light, you will not get HDTV unless you have an external HDTV receiver for satellite and/or local DTV reception.
