I used the hdtv convert software on my HiPix files and I was able to open them with windows media player 9 and run the clips in software only. I have a 2.4G P4 and noticed alot of stutter when playing back the files. The files played back at 2.6 a little better, but at 2.6 + Ghz the computer would lock up after playing them. Looks like even with a 2.4 its not enough horsepower to play HD files.

One question about this, when playing the file the audio seems to be the surround sound track and not the main audio. Is it possible in the mpg conversion software to choose the audio stream?
