I recently bought a pair of Sennheiser HD 555 headphones so I started listening to music through my AV receiver Onkyo TX-SR674E. After a couple of tracks I realized some popping during songs, I don't mean the type of pop when you plug them in, but during certain frequencies and certain songs. I've tried 4 different headphones, different music formats (mp3, flac, wma, wav...) a whole bunch of different songs and I found out the problem is in the receiver. I output my music into the receiver using a PS3.
