Anyone made a super heavy duty sound blocking quilted curtain? I'm thinking about a layer or two of insulshield stitched in, along with chain at the bottom to add extra mass. Maybe some lead lining? I know it's not as good as a door but maybe...

I am going to be making some screenwall drapes with 25oz velour. Although I don't need sound blocking qualities, I am using a bunch of those stock on lead weights that we have here at work for balancing wheels. Going to place them in the bottom hem so the drape will hang straight.


Lead lining would make it incredibly heavy and also may not retract too well.
