I basically live in a forest.
In order to receive both the 119 and 101 satellites, I had to install 2 seperate dishes in two places in my front yard to shoot through small clearings in the trees. I worked with a pro for a while, and we could find no place where an elliptical would work for both 119 and 101. Most of the problem trees are in my neighbors yard, so trimming isn't an option.
Now, I've got to figure out how to get a signal from the 110 position.
My choices appear to be
1) put up a 3rd round dish
2) replace one of the existing round dishes with an elliptical and install the SatC kit on it
is there any other option? Does anybody make a dish that will work with just the 101 and 110 position?
The wiring for this is going to be problematic too, since I don't think I can see both the 119 and 110 satellites from the same locaiton in my yard. Therefore, I'll have run wire a pretty long way from the 110 dish to tie it in with a splitter on the wire coming from the 119 dish.
Plus, anybody know where I can buy an elliptical without a SAT A and SAT B LNB to save a few bucks? The only new equipment I need in option 2 is the actual dish, the arm, and the SAT C LNB.
