My name is Steve. I've lived in Auckland, New Zealand for almost nine years. I am originally from Yorkshire, in England.

I've been a roof tiler for 22 years and my hobbies include beer, golf (7 handicap)and my home theater - in no particular order :). I sort of fell into the home theater thing first with a Sony 41 inch rear projection TV, then a Philips 4500 LCD projector, and a painted living room wall! Then I really dove in head first with a NEC XG-110LC off Ebay (I know ... I know). I had a little trouble with the deal but the guy came through in the end with three brand new tubes. I then converted our sleepout to a home theater room.

I would like to thank AVS forum members for all your knowledgible posts which are a great healp to all us CRT newbies and a special thank you to Mr Doug Baisey who has pulled me out of the *.* on several occasions.

Welcome Steve! Always like to have new members, especially golfers! (gn2=golf nut too) . My wife thought my summer hobby was expensive(I like golf equipment, and have currently 6 sets of blades!) until I discovered crt porjectors(the winter hobby). Sometimes they can be equally frustrating, and rewarding.

Hi Darrell

Good to hear from you. It is rare these days that a company will stand by its products. I can certainly recommend your company to any prospective buyers.

Thanks again, Steve
