Harvey,

Maybe a little more information... What is your operating system and what software (if any) are you trying to use to achieve this resolution?

Im using XP and I have just tried Powerstrip. When I go into custom config and try 1280x720 I am now able to select 1280x720 on the slider in screen resolution then the picture flashes and rolls and reverts back to1280X1024.

Is it that the video card does not support this? What card do you recommend?

So far I have tried NVIDIA GeForce 2 Ultra and Radeon 9700 PRO. Both worked well.

I don't know the NVIDIA 64. If it's recent it should accomodate multiple wierd resolutions. Try downloading the latest drivers.

BTW, my config worked by selecting 1280x720 HTDV standard, at 60Hz. Even worked on an old Nec Multisync monitor!

make sure you can achieve the frequencies that are supported by your monitor or projector. I had to do exact 60Hz, not 59.9....

Hope this helps.

Ycery.
