Help!! 4805 Ceiling Drop Calculations...
Please help, I have used the search function but have not really found the answer I was looking for...
I am in process of mounting my DIY screen from the ceiling, it is a 90" diag. I am dead chuffed with the outcome, although I have yet to purchase the 4805 ( In the UK, the price has dropped nearly £400 since Christmas)
The problem I have is that with the offset of the 4805, for my size of screen, will give a drop of 12.26" + approx 5" from the ceiling to the middle of the lens ( not yet got a proj mount) Due to a slight (read enormous) mistake in purchasing furniture, the lowest I can mount the top of the screen from the ceiling is 15" all in... The distance from the screen to the rear wall is 14.75 feet. Would be able to mount proj anywhere in the range of 11`.57"-13`.923". The link on Kraz Muzik giving the caculations for the ceiling drop wont work on my cheap home computer.
Is there a distance that I can mount the 4805 from the screen that would give me my 90" diag screen, with tilting back the projector slightly that would give me my 15" screen height from ceiling? Would this spoil the picture effect, or is there another solution to my problem??
Believe me I have exhausted every other solution with the Wife...
