Help- 5040 and Direct Tv D10-300 :(
I want to know my options on what to do. I purchased a 5040 w/lifetime membership a couple years back on a great deal (possible mistake) from Radio Shack.
Started a business & had no time to figure out how to hook up and work.
Now things have calmed down and we REALLY want to use our Replay. We have spent tons of time trying to figure out how to get the stupid thing to work. Finally got on this board.
Sounds as if we can't get a code for D10-300. I have a Linksys wireless router but on another forum it sounded like the serial # I have will prevent me from getting codes hacked through it.
Bought a second hand Belkin router 802.11B. Model # F5D6231-4
!)Can I use this router to access codes? If so how?
2) Do I need to purchase a different Direct Tv reciever to use my Replay?
Any help would really be appreciated
