I been reading the posts but still confused on which inwall speakers to purchase.

I am looking at:

2 Polk Audio RC85i for front left and right

2 Polk Audio RC85i for rear left and rear right

2 Polk Audio RC80i 2-Way

Polk Audio PSW10 10-Inch Monitor Series Powered Subwoofer

I am not sure what to purchase for center. Do I need to purchase the speaker pre-construction brackets?

Is this is a good setup?

My HT area in the basement is 19x15.5x8.5. I am going to mount the front RC85i's and RD80's in the wall and mount the rear RC85's in the ceiling.

Thanks.

Polks will do the job but you can always find better. Paradigm if you want to go high-end. MB Quart is another option.

Are MB Quart speaker price similar to Polk speakers or are they more expensive? Is it worth the extra money to get the Polk TC625i InWall Speakers and Polk Audio TC620I InCeiling Speakers?

Thanks.

If you are doing a home theater and want to actually get any dynamics at all, look at the Klipsch THX Ultra 2 in-walls. Best sounding in-wall speaker setup I've ever heard. Most are weak weak weak. The Klipsch actually does dynamics and has some pattern control without embarassing itself.
