Hello all, I just purchased a KRP-500M. Due to the lack of inputs, I need to delve into the world of AV Receiver (sure some of you are saying about time).

I'm not a hard core AV enthusiast but want a decent receiver. I've narrowed it down to these but am not adverse to moving up to the next segment.

I like the Pioneer's analog upscaling. The Onkyo and Denon have Dolby Pro Logic IIz (don't see it listed in the Pioneer brochure). The included Ipod attachment with the Pioneer. I like the six HDMI inputs on the Onkyo.

I'd like S-video for my old video game systems.

I've heard complaints about the Pioneer not being able to provide enough power to some speakers.

I'd appreciate any help and input. Again, this would be my first AV receiver.

I tried going to the website for reviews, but they didn't have anything. I looked in Home Theater Magazine, but they've only had a review of the Onkyo. Hopefully, they have the Denon and Pioneer in the next issue.

I saw on C-Net that they regarded the Pioneer higher than the Onkyo.
