i am new to all this computer stuff i just got a computer and xbox i need to burn a cd or dvd from the xbox site for the updates for the HDDVD ADDON PLAYER.i only have the core system so i can not get the updates from xbox live.my question is on the front of my computer it says CD-RW/DVD does that mean i can burn a cd or dvd? my computer is a emachine model # t2891.THANK YOU

I believe t2891 is the model of the motherboard, and it's in more than 1 model of PC. Sounds like a combo drive (plays DVDs, records CDs). You'll need a burning software (if nothing was pre-installed, you can use WMP under the "burn" tab). Should be pretty self-explanatory from there; select the tracks to fill up the blank CD, select burn.
