Help Choosing Basic AVR

I'm building a house and need an AVR to connect a Sony XB2 to in-ceiling speakers. Nothing too fancy, I'm not setting up surround sound at this point, and won't have many other components (maybe just a DVD player).


Any thoughts on reliable brands/models that are reasonably priced for someone that doesn't need anything real fancy?
