I am looking for a DVD-A/SACD changer, and have narrowed my choices down to the Yamaha DVD-C750 and the Onkyo DV-CP802. I have not been able to get out and demo these units, and was wondering if anyone could help with the comparison. I am primarily interested as audio players, not video players. I've heard great things about the sound quality of the Yamaha. Is the Onkyo as good or almost as good in terms of sound quality. I've heard the Yamaha is dreadfully slow as a changer. Is the Onkyo faster or about the same? One thing I haven't really heard about either unit is how quiet the changer is. Is one unit quieter than the other when changing discs? I've also read some concerns about the Yamaha, and it's ability to return to the same spot when moving back and forth between discs. Is this an issue with the Yamaha, or might it be a disc-specific problem that would affect all players? Anyway, thanks in advance for any advice.
