Tried switching video boards and still same. What about end board?

Jammer, pls remind me.


This is a Barco 1209s I believe. He sent me the power supply to repair which was bad. (bad caps, a couple of others out of spec). Ran it 24 hours with no issues.


Apparently now the set has only a blue pix, however I think this was the initial problem as well. For some reason I asked him based on previous info to send me the SMPS. (I believe that he originally said 'no pix, no powerup')


Now remind me:


1) In the 'installation' menu, does the crosshatch light up and show on all three tubes?


2) Are you actually getting menu/test patterns on the blue tube or is it just lighting up?


3) I know I suggested that you change the video switching board, what was the number of the board you changed?

Hi guys, only blue tube lighting up, Curt, it was the right video board switching with 808s. They are the same. The filiments are lighting up in the tubes and all the green lights are on. But no menue or crosshairs, just blue toube shinning.

Also Curt, I called Barco tech support, and there are 3 boards that are switchable in the 808s and the 1209s. He said something about end board, but that is not switchable.

Well, I'm then gonna guess the far left board, the H shift board is bad, or the video controller.


Why not send me virtually all of hte boards in the set? I've got a couple of 1209s here for about 2 weeks that I can test them in.
