HELP! disc gives error code 0x4094c00b Anyone else have this??
My player has always played any disc that I've put in it ,even the netflix ones ...my version is 1.4 but has never giving any problems . I have heard Horror storys about Black crush and other problems after upgrading to 2.0 so am hessident to do so if not absolutely nessasary
. Disc looks clean , and doesn't look warped or anything ...disk is 720p Camp Cuddly Pines would deferent resolution be a problem?? This IS the HD-DVD copy NOT the HD-WMP one , Thanks, Jess

so ALL newer titles have to have 2.0 to play?? Or is this just certain ones? Like I said am very reluctant to upgrade unless needed because I only have a DVI/ VGA trascoder to my XG75 projector no componnet input if DVI crushes blacks after upgrade :-{

Believe me, I had the same problem a few months back when "King Kong" was released on HD-DVD. I went thru 2 copies before I realized I had a problem. I called Toshiba (very cooperative) - they sent me the 2.0 firmware disc, and my A1 has played all discs flawlessly. Get the 2.0 firmware disc; pop it into your player, and you will be amazed how great it will work. Good luck.
