Hey all, my previous post did not work.

I was in the middle of really tackling this HTPC thing when disaster struck. I set up Powerstrip (3.15, unregistered yet) to Li On's specs driving my AE100, and it looked great for about 10 seconds, then the display went into just general gibberish; can't read it at all.

I hooked up my CRT monitor and the same thing is happening.

I have a retail ATI AIW 7500 and am wondering if there is some sort of problem with setting custom resolutions with AIW drivers?

Please help! Thanks!

If it happens on both your displays, it is probably just a bad timing. Try hitting Ctrl+Alt+S if PowerStrip is running.

As a last resort, boot up in safe mode and re-install your display drivers. (There are lots of intermediate solutions that could be tried as well, but re-installing your display driver doesn't take that much time.)

Alright, so this is a bit desperate again but here's what I've done wallowing about on my own:

Downloaded (but yet to install): latest 6071 ATI driver

Will go buy cheap video card so and temporarily replace AIW so that I can at least see SOMETHING on the screen in order to start debugging.

Does that sound like a start? Any more specific suggestions? Thanks.

Hi Ashley,

Didn't see your post until after I posted.

Thanks for the Powerstrip key combo suggestion, will try that.

In general, is there a problem with setting custom resolutions on the AIW 7500?
