I am trying to build my 1st Computer system connected to my rear projection Toshiba TV. I need info on exactly what cable or adapter or converter that I need to go from my video card (DVI) to the component inputs of my TV...

Here's what I got

XFX FX5200 Personal Cinema with DVI and VIVO (S-Video & Composite Out)

Toshiba TN61X81 Rear Projection TC with Component Inputs

I have it connected thru the S-Video and of course, I can barely read the text from internet pages.

The XFX (Pine) support people don't know what I'm talking about, so I've wasted enough time with them.

The XFX card has a DVI-I type connector. It also came with a DVI-to-VGA adapter. This tells me that the card should be putting out both digital and analog signals. This means it should work if I connect it to a component input on my TV......if....I have the right adapter or cable.

I have found some DVI-A to Component Video cables on the internet. Will they work for my card?

I have found the ATI to Component Video Adapter. Will this work on my XFX video card.

Help! This is the only obstacle to me hooking up my system permanantly!!!

Thx,

FDWHO
