finally going to pull the trigger


the choices are as follows for a HT *and* analog music system:


denon 3910

fujitsu 42" hd set

use a bryston sp 1.7 processor to turn 3910 into transport for CDs


or

arcam fmj 27A

nec 42" EDTV

bryston sp 1.7


i currently do not have any HD sources, and primarily will use the screen for DVDs. however, i cannot rule out HD sources in a year or 18 months.


my rationale is that the fmj27a does not upscale but is great for music, while the 3910 does upscale for the fuji but not as good for music
