I just picked up a used,(Thumperized), Plus UP1100. I have it ceiling mounted. It works great on the s-video input.

Here's the problem - when I switch to the RGB input the whole picture is green, (like there is no red or blue), and there are a bunch of green lines across the entire bottom of the picture.

I am using a Better Cables "breakout cable" coming from my DVD player component out to the RGB in on the Plus.

What am I doing wrong? This is my first projector, so I might be missing the obvious.

Thanks a bunch for any help. Reed.

Reed,

Go into the menu and select image mode (twice, I think) and find the selection for the choice of RGB or YrYbY input. You may have the wrong one selected (this is for the component video option).

Good Luck,

Reed W,

Check your setting in the image menu for component vs. RGB input. A component input (progessive or interlaced) when applied with the unit set for RGB will give a all green image.
