Help-hdmi Issues With Sony Hs 51

THIS may have been covered in the long SONY thread, however i didnt find it. I cant get a DVI signal to sync with the SONY from the following two sources: INTEGRA (ONKYO) 10.5 DVD PLAYER, and a new JVC HS5U DTHEATER TAPE PLAYER. My satelite VOOM box works fine. I have tried runing direct feeds , or thru a DVDO ISCAN HD+ SCALER. In either case I only get a brief (good quality) picture, than goes away. Sony's display may be the culprit here, as when i talked with DVDO tech, he also had complaint from another SONY HS5 user. I also use a dvi switching box, with same results. Any feedback would be appreciated.
