I want to buy a monitor that is compatible with it. I need the scan rates etc. I have tried one monitor and it would not work. Thanks,

Thank you!

Should LCD monitors possibly work as well. I am assuming 33khz is horizontal frequency.

Consistent with John's response, here's an excerpt from RCA's official Help page:

Vertical Scan Frequency: 59.94 Hz or 60.00 Hz (program frame rate dependent)

Horizontal Scan Frequency: 33.540 to 33.806 kHz (program frame rate dependent)

It should work with most multi-sync computer monitors. The HD output on the DTC-100 needs to be selected which disables the regular NTSC output. The scan rate is near 1080i or 540p which gives a line frequency of about 33 kHz. The output is like pc video with RGB and two sync lines. The sync polarity is positive, which some projectors and old non-multi monitors can not use. John
