HELP!! I need to get sticky tape goo off my screen!

After installing my Draper M1300 last night I noticed a stray piece of tape stuck to the screen. Upon pulling it off (not easy) it left some nasty goo. What is the best way to clean it? I am afraid of using a solvent that is too strong.

Jeff I had use baby oil to remove the "nasty goo" that masking tape leave over plastic and vinyl when you remove it, then I use alcohol or soap to remove the oil. I would try first over another material like the bath curtain.

I would be afraid of using anything. YIKES. Can you get it off with another piece of tape? Sometimes sticking and pulling off a piece of tape will pull up the glue. Goo gone works but I can't say what anything will do to a screen.
