Title says it all.


Open QAM channels were working fine. Cable co came out to install cable card - so of course, QAM channels went away. But they never got the cable card installed - some problem on the head end.


Took cable card out, tried to watch my QAM, and they aren't there. I've run a three channel scans, but the 500 is only "finding" the analog channels now.


How do I reset the Sony so I can get my QAMs back?

(and yes, the cable card is now out.) everything is back as it was...but the 500 will no longer find any digital channels. I'm sure its a reset/memory problem, but I can't find anything in the manual.

haven't seen/found that as an option...the danged Sony is so user-friendly that I can't even find any serious setup choices...the Moto from my cable co offers me more control.
