My wife wants to get rid of cable. So I went and got a flat RCA inside antenna. Got things set up, and it was working (sort of), with lots of lost images. I was moving the antenna around, trying to find the best spot for the picture, when all of a sudden the screen went dark. I plugged our cable back into input A, and same thing. Can get sound, but no picture.

I press the menu, and the menu comes up. But if I try to get into the tuner setup, the screen in black.

I still get a picture when I input from our AppleTV or from the PS3.

Any ideas what I've done?

Thanks,

Tom

i can suggest a couple of tests to isolate the problem which could be a few things.

1. have you tried the antenna on both ANT A and ANT B inputs? do you get the same results? (i.e, no pic, only sound)

2. do you han another tv or can you take the tv to a friends house and see if the antenna works...it is possible that that antenna's cable or the connector has become defective in moving around.

3. if the antenna has only a connector and you are using your own f-f cable, try a different cable

Thanks for answering, and sorry for my delay in responding.

I ended up having them come look at it. The TV way just about out of warranty. He said the tuner was bad, and that the whole "board" had to be replaced, so that is happening Tuesday.

Thanks again.
