Hi Guys,

I'm looking to buy a 60" LED SMART TV. There aren't too many options for a 60" tv but it is very confusing on which to buy based on price, quality and specs.

I have been looking at the Samsung UN60ES6500, LG 60LM7200 or Sony KDL60EX645. Do you guys have any other suggestions that I should be looking at?

My price range is $2000ish and below. Thanks!!

Greatly Appreciated! Love the AVS community so far!

Vizio and Sharp make quality products, but do what you like. It;s your money and your TV.

It's very cheap because that's the Black Friday price. You would probably have to shank someone at Wal-Mart to get one at that price though.

You should read the Vizio E601-A3 thread. There's a ton of great information on there. This TV can be purchased at Costco which will give you an additional year (2 total) warranty add that to a Square Trade 3 year extended and you're looking at a 5 year warranty on a TV that's less than $1,000. Plus the reviews are really good. Check out the Cnet and other reviews along with those in the thread. Seeing the TV at Costco and the reviews have made me a believer. I'm trying for one of the Wal Mart BF deals but I'll be happy paying the full $979 at Costco for the ease and warranty piece of mind.

Good luck!!!

I'm in this same boat as wanting to pay $1500-$2k for a 3D LED SMART TV

!!! SOrry to thread highjack but let me add to the debate!

Models I'm considering:

Sharp Model: LC-60LE845U

Samsung: Model: UN60ES6500FXZA

LG Model: 60LM7600 (maybe replaced now by 60LM7200?)

There is also a $2k BB Samsung Model: UN60D7000 Refurbished for $2K....but refurb products sketch me out a little.

Thoughts?

Sharp 60LE640U is a good choice and will not break the bank. Don't buy any Black Friday low priced "value" TVs including Sharp 60LE600 or similar.

So I was looking at the Samsung 60 inch 6500...and I was pretty much set on it but comparatively to other TVs it seemed a bit overpriced for what you get, which made me jump to the Sharp one and then I found the information on the brand new LG 60 in 7200 so I was wavering back and forth greatly

Ultimately decided on the 7200, but can still return it if not satisfied (i based it off of reviews of the 7600 and 6200)...LG said it should be comparable to the 7600...go over to the "Official LG XXLM7200 Thread" for further details and reviews on Thursday!

I'm looking for a deal on a 60 inch, LED, 3D, SMART TV too.

I'm also considering:

Samsung: Model: UN60ES6500FXZA

Are any of the Costco Vizio 60 inch units 3D, LED, and SMART?
