I'm interested in purchasing a 16:9 HDTV ready RPTV in the next month.

My current short list of TVs under consideration includes the Sony KP-57XBR10W and the Toshiba 57HX81

My main concerns (warranted or not) have been 720p support, window box burn-in (since I don't intend to watch a stretched or cropped 4:3 picture), support for anamorphic DVD squeezing (does the TV handle this or the player?), reflective screen glare

I'm thinking I don't want a built-in HDTV receiver.

My pet peeve with my dead ProScan RPTV was the convergence. Convergence at the edges of the screen was bad, and even professional technicians found the screwdriver adjustment controls lacking.

I also need plenty of s-video inputs. I have a Phillips/TiVo PVR, A Sony DVD player (no component output), a Mitsubishi SVHS deck, and a Pioneer CLD-704 laserdisc player.

Can anyone help me compare these two TVs, point out inadequacies, or suggest other/newer models I should be considering?

Thanks for any help you can give!
