Help me decide A8G or C9 - same price

Hi all, I am going to jump into 65 OLED world. It will replace my 2015 FALD Toshiba which was a real work horse.
My source is ATV 4k, and I stream from QNAP from time to time. I don’t play video games at all.
The way I have it connected now is ATV to a soundbar which supports Dolby Atmos and has eARC.

Which one do you think would suite me better?
Also, I intend to purchase Calman Home and calibrate the TV.
Is there something I should be cautious about in terms of what one TV support compared to the other one based on my use case described above?

I appreciate the help!!!

The C9 would be a better TV than the AG8/A8G. Many people are saying the AG8 is just a rebadged AF8, and that TV was mediocre imo. From these two choices, get the C9, better TV. If you can step up your budget and you don't do gaming, then you could look at a Sony AG9 master series over the C9.

Dang, I am getting that itch. A9G you say...
...I might need to sleep over, it's $1300 more.
^the question you shouod ask yourself when making a purchase like that is the difference in cost, 1300 is still pretty steep imo for what you get.

is the difference really 1300? I thought the difference in the U.s. was less but maybe that's what the current prices are that are available to you (So would that also mean the difference in the states between a Sony A8 and A9 is 1300! Strange, our pricing has them closer). At that difference I would not recommend it, ag9/a9g is not 1300 better, you don't have the Panasonic gz2000 at your location, or I would suggest that paying 1300 more is worth it with that TV. So with your options and the pricing , forget both the A8 and A9 sony's and get the C9. If your movie watching is high quality material 4k Blu rays or 1080p discs, and not dvd-s or low res videos, then the C9 is very good.
I knew it, I knew it, it hit me hard, went to Best Buy and paid Uber XL to drive me back. A9G it is. Time to go to bed, it’️s a long weekend after all. Thank you all!!!
