I'm trying to decide between the Panansonic 50PZ85U and the Samsung 50A550. For those that have compared the two, which did you like better and why? I've seen both of them at Circuitcity, and I slightly preferred the Panasonic but I believe CNET rated the Samsung higher so i'm torn. Any opinions would be appreciated.

I would say they are close to the same but, as for overall color quality I would go with the Samsung A550. Also, take a look at the Panasonic 50PZ800U, at around an extra $150 upgrade. It is well worth it.

both great but imho slight edge to the sammy but if you like the panny better if go with my gut--i got an lg lcd that i liked better that got mediocre reviews several years ago and have never looked back.
