Alright guys, I currently own a 720p 1080i 42'' rear projection Tv "Hitachi" and while I like it, its now a bit too small for me in its new home. So I either want to go to routes.


I could either get a Optoma hd70 which is a 720 1080i projector, native, and 16:9 native. It will produce about a 90-100 inch screen. If I got this I would keep the other tv for regular Tv watching. About 1400 dollars with a screen.


Or I could pick up a new 1080p rear projection Tv, either a Mitsu, or Samsung "best brands" and it would be about 56-61 inches. But it would cost about 2000 to 2200 with tax and everything.


Any input?

If you have a dedicated theatre room, no question, go with the projector.


If you don't have room, or this is in your living area go with a RPTV.
