Made my foray into projectors nearly a decade ago and have been without one for nearly two years. It's time to get back into it. I have the option between a 285ES with 3 year warranty (Demo) vs RS500U with 100 hours and has been calibrated for $2000 each. I'll likely build my screen unless there are good screens out there for ~$200. I would also be happy with less, to be honest, for instance I also have the option of a used 5020UB with 100 hours on lamp and extra lamp for $800. Or I can do a BenQ 2050 for $300 starting out and work my way up again. Just looking for some opinions on this. Just for reference, my previous projectors were: HD250 JVC and a Midrange sony. So my standards aren't as high as some. Just let me know what your thoughts are. Thanks
