I dont pretend to know a lot about Home Theaters so I have been doing a lot of research and asking advice through various sources. So far I have gotten an Hitachi 51" F510 High Def. T.V. and today I just ordered the Athena Micra 6 speaker system due to some great advice and a lot of research.
Now my next step is a reciever. I am on a pretty low budget because the wife is not as enthusiastic about this as I am but I want to get the best I can on a budget. I have it narrowed down to the Pioneer VSX-815 or the Onkyo TX-SR503. I have seen some good reviews for both of these recievers. I have just done SO much research that I have become confused about the whole thing. I would really appreciate any input from you guys that are much smarter aboiut this than I am.
If you've looked at these models, I'd go with the easiest to use, the display isn't too bright, remote button layout, etc. Any quirks you find won't go away at home.
Thank you both. I wish I could afford the 1015 but the wife just wont let me. I took into consideration what was said about the remote and the Pioneer has a really nice remote. I am pretty sure I am going to go with the Pioneer as of right now. I have today to do some more homework on both systems and listen to any more input and tomorrow i will pull the trigger.
