Help me name this Alien Hunter Movie

Around 1986 or so I recall seeing a movie on HBO which featured an Alien Hunter, who preyed on humans. As I recall he was a large humanoid himself, and he killed the humans and hung them up in a makeshift "meat locker", perhaps an abandoned shed of some sort. I don't recall much else except for frightened people trying to avoid/kill him and discovering carcasses in the abandoned shed.

I cannot recall much detail except it was a lower budget sci-fi film, on HBO in 1986 or so, and it was not Predator.

Can anyone recall a film like this, that would have aired on HBO in 1986 or so?

You have no clue as to the actor(s) that were in it? Nothing came from an 'alien' keyword search on IMDB?
Could it be "Without Warning".It has Martin Landau and some other slumming noteworthy actor in the cast.Did the alien use tentacled frisbees as weapons?
The posters for Without Warning[1980] look VERY familiar regarding the creature. I'll have to watch it again to be sure, but if the alien stores dead human bodies in some sort of shed or locker, then that's almost certainly it. That does look like the creature I recall in the film. On the other hand, since it's not out on DVD or VHS I may not get to see this thing.
When I picture a shed and a locker I get two very different images in my head.
Could it have been " The Tommyknockers" with Jimmy Smitts?

A tv adaptation of King's novel which featured a shed with not only humans hanging around, but the pet dog as well.

Just a shot at it.
I remember something called " I come in Peace" (or something) where Dolf Lundgren was a cop chasing an huminoid alien (tall guy...long white hair) to drained people of brain fluid (endorphins)....I don't remember anyone hanging upside down thou...

Right, and he had a really cool disc-like weapon he threw that would slice people in half and then return to his hand.

"I come in peace."

"And you leave in pieces!"
Josh Z:Boston has the spice melange? Is that what the Bosox used to beat the Yankees at the playoffs?

Well, now we know what the Yankees were using, and it didn't help them out very much this year, did it?
I think it was "without warning" too. I remember seeing this as a kid and seeing the people hanging up in the shed. the hunter alien would throw a biofrisby at people and it would subdue them. Coolstuff!!
I found it on DVD from ebay, so I guess I'll watch it to be sure but I'm 99% certain that it was "Without Warning", as described earlier by jillbrazil (thanks). As I recall it's a very bad movie, but for some reason I remember parts of it even after all these years, so I'm curious to see it again.
Uzun:you're welcome.One question.Was the other actor I mentioned Jack Palance? Josh Z:no it did'nt.

Another day saved by Movie Trivia Girl!
Yes Jack Palance is in this one as well.
I saw it tonight, Without Warning is indeed the movie I was thinking of. Not a particularly good film by any means, but Jack Palance and Martin Landau are pretty good with their roles. It's an alien sport hunter who comes to earth in a manner very similar to the film Predator, but done with a slasher in the dark sense about it.

Probably worth looking at if you can stand cheesy science fiction films with low budgets and poor dialog, because of it's similarity to the later film Predator in premise, and Landau and Palance's quirky characters.
