Hello Everyone,

I'm trying to buy theater seats in following configuration for my dedicated media room (14.5' * 18') [I have a french door in the center of the back wall so, trying to buy 2 * love or raw of seats which are around 62" in width]:
  • 2 * love seats/2-seats in a row
  • 3-seats in a row

I have budget of $600-$700 per seat and have following seats sort listed (open for any suggestions):

- HTDesing is costing me around: $4,495.97 in Texas.
- 4Seating.com is costing me around: $4,596.32 + TAX in Texas.

Could you please help me decide which one I should pick?

Current configuration of Media room:
- Denon X4300H
- Elite Screen 120" 16:9
- 1* SVS Ultra center
- 2* SVS Ultra Bookself
- 4 * EMPTek R5Bi
- 1 * SVS PB-2000
- 1 * SVS PC-12 Plus

I'm sure others will post their replies about quality & experiences, but price-wise I can tell you that 4Seating has run several specials over the past few months that give you a free power upgrade or 10% off. If I've read your math correctly you need 7 seats, so that might save you up to $700 if you can wait a while for another sale.

I would not be surprised if HT Design can offer you good pricing if you contact them.

Thank you for the information.

I can find good reviews for rtheaters.com and I see they are on avsforum too and reply quickly.

Any information about their Fusion collections of media chair?

The fusion seats are in over half of my theater construction projects. Bacon Race, White Oaks, Rawlinsway, Lemonade, Summer Fun, are a few with threads in the construction section of the forum. I like them. I recently worked on a theater that had HTmarket's seating and they were about the same.

Jeff,

If you don't mind; why is it that the HTDesign seats are so newly popular?
It appears to be that only the Pembroke model from HTDesign has the power headrest, and it is more expensive than the Fusion Escapes (even with the HTDesign labor day coupon).

So I guess, why are people choosing models from HTDesign without the power headrest?

The warranty is longer on the fusions, right? I think Roman was offering up a 5 year warranty on the holiday promotion.

Thanks,

The Fusions have 'bonded leather' - isn't that subpar!

The Fusion Collection Seating is offered in 2 covers:

1. Full bonded leather
2. Top grain leather on all surfaces you touch and matching vinyl on the sides of the chair arms and very back of the chairs.

Full bonded leather is quite less expensive and is offered as budget option.

Top grain leather/vinyl combo as good as anyone's else offering there.
