I need some serious help. I've tried searching the forum but that has confused me even more that I already was.
The first room I need help with is my living room. The room is 20x20 with a 20ft ceiling that opens up in the back to the kitchen (the ceiling drops down to 10 ft in the kitchen). Speakers needed sub, center, front (on-wall) and rears in-wall. The rears will be 14ft high mounted in the wall where the ceiling drops down the kitchen. I'm also open to avr suggestions. Primary use will be normal tv watching with a little music. I would like to keep the speaker budget to around $2000 if possible. Bookshelf and floor speakers are not an option.
I also need recommendations for in-ceiling speakers for my bedroom, game room and master bath as well. Primary use will be background music.
