Help on Windows Vista Custom Resolution 1366x768

Hi All,

I installed Windows Vista (32 bit) RC1 on my HTPC, my problem is that I have a 32 inch Hisense LCD that is capable of displaying 1366x768 but I can't seem to find an option to add custom resolution to display 1366x768 on Nvidia 96.33 drivers. This LCD works on MCE no problem with 91.47 drivers. I tried installing Powerstrip but still no luck. Your comments is highly appreciated.

Wait for Nvidia to release a real driver, with support for HDTV/Custom resolutions/color controls, etc.
Yeah were basically hosed till new nvidia drivers come out.

But RC2 hits on friday so new drivers should be in the pipe.
The current NVidia driver for RC1 is very strict on respecting the maximum resolution indicated by your display EDID. You can create any resolution *below* the maximum explicitly indicated. To create something above that requires rewriting the EDID...

Have you gotten the res worked out yet?

The vista already realized. And the drive is 97.46.

I'm no luck still getting the 1366x768 working. ne 1 help?
get the beta 100.59 drivers

with these i was finally able to use powerstrip to set a custom resolution of 1696x956 for my 1080i crt before it would only let me do 1920x1080 which was horribly overscanned

the drivers are still missing the hdtv setup functions but atleast powerstrip works now

ive been waiting months for this! Now if i could just get the fonts and dpi size to work correctly
