Help! Panasonic TH-37PWD7UY stuck!!

Panasonic TH-37PWD7UY is stuck in standby mode. It will go to green light for a few seconds when first turn on, then goes to red and flashes 2 times and stays red then repeats flash. Any help appreciated.

Sounds like the power supply is shot.

Probably what is called the "SU" pcb. Repair $$$ is 2-3 hundred.


Check www.Panasonic.com under -support, find a servicer- and take it in for an estimate.


Probably NOT a panel defect so it is economical to fix.


NOT a DIY project, sorry. Parts are sold only to authorized dealers.

Warranty is 1 yr parts and labor, you'll need your original invoice.

BTW, failures of this type are usually due to poor airflow/cooling when placed inside furniture enclosures or mounted in areas of poor airflow.
