We need an amp to power 3 pairs of Audioengine P4N's (4 ohms) as well as a single speaker (I think Polk TL1) in our store. The receivers (2 Yamaha R-S300's) they went and bought go into protect mode about twice a day. They finally decided to listen to me about replacing the receiver with something that can handle the speakers.

Does anybody have any suggestions?

Are you just using them for music inside the store. Something like this would give you channels to spare.

You could add 3 more pair of P4Ns at a later point as well.

Or you could get 3 of these amps

I just looked up the Yamaha R-S300s. It can handle 4 Ohm speakers, it can't handle two sets for 4 ohm speakers connected to A&B terminals.

If you are driving 6 P4s and another 8 Ohm speaker with 2 of those amps you have it all hooked up wrong. That amp can drive 4 8-Ohm speakers or 2 4-Ohm speakers. If you connect 4 4-Ohm speakers to it you are presenting a 2-Ohm load to the amplifier, which is why it is going into protect mode.

What you need to do is keep the two Yamaha's each of them should drive two P4 speakers connected to the A terminal. Then buy another 2-channel amp to drive the 3rd pair. Another R-S300 would work fine, or the audiosource I linked above.
