I am in need for some suggestions for a processor and amp to pair up with my Klipsch RF-83 speakers. I want to keep the price for the pair around $2500. My system includes:

RF-83 Floorstanders

RC-64 Center

RS-62 Surrounds

SVS PC 13-ULTRA


Any help would be GREATLY APPRECIATED!!!!!!!!!!!!

You need to have clean power. What is more damaging to speakers is not having enough power. Therefore look at your speakers specs and find out the power rating . Then multiply by 1.5 to 2 to get the amp or receiver power requirement

I have a 10.2 system with Klipsch's and two Ultras. I went with the Onkyo 5007. Works great and I have plenty of power to spare. I also ended up getting the SVS AS EQ1 to tame the Bass and it worked wonders. Tons of DSP selections for watching movies and sports. Love the DSX High and Wide processing. Great AVR for the price. I know you did not ask about AVRs. But this unit has solid power for an AVR. Check it out.
