Help Please......How much is my TW65X81 worth?


Hi all,

I am going to sell my Toshiba TW65X81, which I purchased three and a half years ago (I paid $5200 back then).

It is in excellent condition, never been a problem, only thing is I don't know what it is worth.

I would appreciate some ideas for pricing this tv. Reason I am selling is because I am going FPTV now.

It depends a lot on how you took care of it during that time. If you watched a lot of 4:3 mode or had the contrast cranked.


If it is worst case treatment, $1000 to $1500. If you took care of it ... $2000 range.

It is in excellent condition, I took care of it. I figured I would get around $1500 for it, damn that hurts, but i'll try for $2000.

Increase it's resale value by doing some tweaks to it if you have not done so.


Service convergence helps a lot ... as well as mech/electronic focus.
