[piston broke]

Hi all.

Haven't posted on here because have answered most questions with a search, but was hoping for some advice on this subject...


Have just got an onkyo 876 amp and pioneer bdp51fd bd player which are both lovely

, but am finding the 51 takes a while to get a dvd playing so was going to get a cheapish dvd player to feed the amp a 480 signal via hdmi and let the amp do the scaling.


So was thinking about using one these....

onkyo dvsp406 (very reasonable price)

oppo 980h

pioneer elite 59avi (used)


Does anyone have an opinion about which one to get, or have I missed a player out?
