i'm looking for a small receiver with two digital audio inputs one of which has to be optical and one optical out.


i need the receiver to be no more than 5 inches tall.


hdmi switching would be nice but not essential.


i doesn't have to be something new, i'd like to keep the price under $200.


it will be for a bedroom with only a 2.0 setup.

It would be easier to find a spot with more room than 5". Any thing you buy will need some breathing room. The smallest stereo I know of is the Sherwood RX-4105 but it doesn't have digital inputs.

Imho4ep, did you find something that fits the bill?


I'm also looking for a 2-channel receiver under 5" tall (and I have the additional restriction that it has to be less than 16" wide).


Curious to see what you went with...
