I'm in the process of sheetrocking my 1700sf metal-studded basement, and am inching toward the theater room. Because I used metal studs, I also used armored (BX) electrical cable and metal electrical boxes throughout. Is there any special care I should take to avoid rattles? I'm thinking of going a little wacky with expanding foam insulation and/or liquid nails adhesive to pin things down.
Anyone out there have any words of advice? I've though of cranking up the audio system to expose any rattles, but I'm afraid to set up my paradigm speakers and receiver in the midst of all the construction (especially considering the drywall dust!
Please help before it's too late and the drywalls all up!
