Help, Contractor is sheet rocking tomorrow. I would like to confirm I pulled the correct wires to the sub and additional wire to the TV location. I pulled an RG6 to the sub as my media consultant said this could be used for the sub. And in an effort to future proof TV as well as possibly use for an IR emitter I pulled a Cat 6. To be honest I have no idea so would like to confirm before it is too late. Thanks!

Yes RG6 can be used as a sub cable. As for the Cat6, nothing wrong with running it all over the house. It can be used for many many things.

To echo what everyone else said -- put cat5/cat6 EVERYWHERE. It's very versatile as it can be used for telephone, networking, video (HDMI), IR, etc, etc. And it's cheap. Pull 2-4 to each TV spot. To the seating area. And anywhere else you can think of.
