Does anyone know how to reset a Marantz sr 7200? My buddy has one, and I think that it may need to be reset. The issue is that it will not produce any output from the center, rear, or sub channels. At first, I thought maybe some of the channels might be out, but he has a powered sub and there is no sound coming out of that when I run the test tones. Only in the left and right speaker do I get the test tone. I have gone through all the set up, and have verified all the speakers are set up properly on the set up menu. The display shows DD or DTS and shows all 5 speakers plus LFE, but you only get sound of left and right. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Marantz Sr7200 Reset


After several exchanges with Marantz, they gave me the wrong procedure.


To reset the SR7200


While powered off, press A/D + FP +Dimmer (all three buttons)


Press the main power switch till powered on


The receiver is cleared of all settings. You have to reprogram your inputs, tuner, speakers and levels.


I googled this all over the place and is not to be found. Hopefully, it can now be found here.
