help! settings needed for new system

i recently purchased a pio 930 with a yamaha 2600 receiver and denon 1920 dvd player to go with my directtv. ive read around and looked for optimal settings and found several, but most of them pertained to cable. i talked with several forum members about their tv settings but was also wondering if anyone had a similar setup. anyone willing to share their settings (for the tv watching regular tv and then for watching dvds) with me. thanks a lot.

You are best bet is to search in the display calibration forum for "settings". This area is really to discuss the dvd hardware. May I suggestion looking into a calibration disc to create your own settings, since one's enviroment, pic taste and I think you'll find equipment varies so much....calibrating your own set up is the optium route to take. I do agree that other's settings...assuming they have the same source component and display will give you a place to start....then the calibration disc allows you to perfect the tweak.
