I am seeing a bright line near the bottom of the viewing area. There is an area 2 pixels in height and going across the entire width of the viewing area that stays very bright, makes it look like a thin line across the bottom. Anyone else seeing this or know what may be causing the problem? The unit is less than a month installed, I will be calling the dealer today.


BTW - Bought the 9000 after much viewing and based on lots of info derived from this forum. I am VERY pleased, with the exception of this line issue. Hope someone can help - Thanks....

Warranty issue could be pixel line drop. Call Sharp ASAP.

Have 600 Hrs. on my Z9000... Have not experienced your problem.

are you sure the line is created by the projector? Can u still see the line if you display the keystone test pattern (press the keystone button on the remote, select show test pattern)?

Just out of curiousity. Is it an American or Japanese model?

Projector is a US model. Good idea about the keystone screen, I will try it when I get home this evening.
